'Let Your Light Shine'

Matthew 5:16

We are really happy to let you know that this  academic year each class has chosen a charity to support. This is not just about fundraising, but also about raising awareness of important issues and the fantastic work that a variety of charities do.

Please take a look at the charities chosen within each class. The children will be learning about the work these charities do throughout the year and sharing the important messages they want to pass on.

We have picked a range of charities, covering areas such as disability awareness, environmental care, animal welfare and more.

Now and again throughout the year, class teachers and pupils will be sharing some mini projects linked to their chosen charities.

This emphasizes a focus on courageous advocacy for pupils, which simply means speaking up for others and taking action to make a positive difference in the world. We want our children to understand that they can be a voice for change, no matter how big or small.

Charities are unique to each class so different year groups will be involved in different activities.

We hope you will enjoy supporting as much as you can 🤗
