Lancaster Castle trip

Lesson: History

Class: Class G Year: 2021 - 2022

A fabulous trip to Lancaster Castle.

We visited the modern cell block, old cells and various court rooms. We heard tales of the Lancashire witches and of the many trials and executions held there!

Next, it was off to the Judges' lodgings, where the judges who worked at the castle courts would have lived. We learnt about life as a school child in Victorian times and as a servant! Mr Cooper was the strict Victorian schoolmaster!
