Chinese New Year

On Tuesday 1st February, Charllie's mummy came in to class to talk to us about Chinese New Year. We heard the story of the animals' race and had a go at putting all the animals in the right order - it was tricky to remember them all! But we did it!

We also heard the story of the fearsome beast Nian and how the villagers worked together to defeat it by making loud noises, lighting fireworks and weraing red costumes.

Finally, we were given lucky red envelopes to take home. We had lots of fun!
