RE in year 2

R.E. is at the centre of our learning and daily school life. 

In year 2 we have learnt about the Bible, Christmas, Jesus, Easter, The Church and Ascension and Pentecost.  

As part of our learning we have watched chicks hatch in our class (a sign of new life), done many RE crafts such as make a leper, re-enacted the last supper, and we wrote prayers in our classroom Tabereacel (a tent). The children also made Jacob's ladder, this is in a Bible story where Jacob dreams of a ladder reaching up to heaven with angels asending and descending.
