As part of our learning on world faiths and diversity, we have gained knowledge of the Hindu festival of light - Diwali. This is when Hindus celebrate letting light into their lives and homes and keeping the darkness out. Some of Class K entered a competition to create a diva lamp and they were rewarded with sweets for their efforts. 

Our school councillors also enjoyed a Q&A session with a visitor.
